You might have pain from a car accident, an acute injury or from sudden pain from an unknown cause. I will work with you to understand possible causes for your pain and apply an integrative approach so that your body can heal itself from painful conditions. We will:

  1. discuss your goals during our initial consultation,

  2. review your surgical and accident history,

  3. review when and how the pain began,

  4. assess your posture for likely culprits based on our consultation,

  5. develop a plan and

  6. apply an integrative hands-on approach will be used to help your body heal itself.

This integrative approach includes massage techniques such as:

  1. Myofascial Release massage,

  2. Manual lymphatic drainage,

  3. Swedish massage and

  4. Trigger Point massage.

These massage techniques combined will help reduce fascial restrictions, relax your muscles, reduce pain, breakdown scar tissue and increase range of motion so that your body can heal.

Depending on where your body is in its healing process, I might use a variety of stretching techniques including:

  1. passive stretching,

  2. myofascial stretching,

  3. active isolated stretching,

  4. proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and

  5. assisted/resisted techniques.

These stretching techniques are employed at various times to help lengthen your muscles, help your body heal itself, restore your muscles to their normal range of motion and prevent pain from returning.

Depending on your presentation, we might also incorporate Avazzia’s neuro-modulating micro-current technology or MELT Method techniques to accelerate your healing.

I’m happy to partner with your physician, chiropractor, acupuncturist, personal trainer, PT or OT to help your body accelerate its healing with massage, stretching and the MELT Method.

Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.
