HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BEGIN TO SEE RELIEF? To Heal?

Everyone heals at a different rate. My goal as a massage therapist is to help you recover from pain, numbness and tingling. Signs of improvement may include one or more of the following:

  1. less pain,

  2. reduced numbness/reduced tingling,

  3. improved range of motion/improved quality of motion,

  4. better or longer sleep,

  5. improved digestion,

  6. reduced anxiety and/or

  7. decreased frequency and urgency for voiding the bladder.

The pace at which your body will heal depends in part on:

  1. the severity of trauma you have suffered,

  2. your overall health (certain conditions such as diabetes slow healing),

  3. the health of your connective tissue,

  4. the demands you put on your body on a day-to-day basis and/or

  5. how you care for your body.

If you are not showing any signs of improvement within 3 sessions, we need to consider what other healing techniques exist that might bring you the results you seek and what other health care providers can assist you in your healing journey.
